STEIM Workshops SuperCollider 3 Advanced workshop (Start) date: 24th June, 2009 Lecturer(s): Jan Trützschler von Falkenstein Course cost: €100 Registration is required for this workshop and can only be done through this registration form.. Please register early to ensure a place. Places are limited to 10. Note: after registration you will be informed by email through our office whether you can go ahead and make the payment. You can only be sure of a place in the workshop after the payment is received. Payment can be done by creditcard or Paypal through our online store or by bank transfer. This 2-day hands-on workshop is intended for advanced users who want to expand their possibilities and find new ways to work more efficiently with SuperCollider 3. We will cover topics such as: using Patterns, techniques for interaction via (more elaborated) graphical interfaces and external controllers, creating effect queues, extending SC by writing classes and UGens, managing large projects through code re-usability, SC programming tips and tricks and SC architecture. We will also be adaptable to participants needs. Requests for topics are welcome, including project specific questions. Dates: June 24 & 25 Cost: €100 Location: STEIM, Achtergracht 19, Amsterdam ![]() Jan Trützschler von Falkenstein is active in the fields of composition, live electronics, sound - installation, performance and software development. Through regular collaborations with video artists he seeks for ways to set his music in different contexts and perspectives, while often focusing on one material, topic or (ritual) procedures. The past few years he has been active as a SuperCollider developer, which has resulted in various contributions to the program. In 2007 he organised the second international SuperCollider Symposium in The Hague. Jan studied Media Design at Bauhaus University, Weimar, with a focus on sound installation. In 2005 he graduated from the Institute for Sonology, Royal Conservatory The Hague (MMus).
